GAM Statement on COVID-19: Updated March 20, 2020

GAM EXEMPT FROM ILLINOIS SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER

To our Valued Customers, Partners, and Friends,

On Friday, March 20, the state of Illinois issued a Shelter in Place Order. GAM has been deemed an essential business and our production facility is still functioning.

To follow the order, we are doing the following:

  • Office Staff: All office staff are set up to work remote and handle normal administrative functions including phones, order processing, engineering, technical support, accounting, A/R, and A/P. You can reach everyone at their usual phone number and email. You can also contact us at 847-649-2500 or through our Contact Us form.
  • Manufacturing: Manufacturing will continue with isolated work zones including the restriction of movement to common areas; limits on the sharing of tools, machines, or other processes; and frequent cleaning

The impact caused by COVID-19 to our local and the global community, along with the response, is evolving rapidly. GAM is monitoring the situation closely and ensuring internal measures are put in place to protect the health and safety of our employees while at the same time serving our customer's needs.

As a US manufacturing company focused on providing the highest level of customer service, GAM Enterprises is committed to ensure there is no disruption of our products and services from our internal manufacturing, or any of our supply chain partners.

GAM has a large inventory of products on the shelf, dual sources for nearly every component and internal manufacturing capacity available to handle our existing customers' and future customers' needs.

We do not anticipate, at this time, any disruptions in our ability to supply our gearboxes, couplings, or any other product to our customers.

Feel free to contact us at 847-649-2500 or through our Contact Us form, if you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance. We are here to support you and we appreciate your continued support.

Sincerely,

Gary A. Michalek
